ITOCHU
  Toshihiro Sugiura is the new General
Manager of ITOCHU Oil Exploration (Azerbaijan) Inc. He replaces
Kotaro Morishita. Mr. Sugiura joined ITOCHU in 1993. He has had
considerable experience working in the former USSR and Russian
Federation. Before coming to Baku, he was involved with Sakhalin
Island working on the Sakhalin-1 Oil & Gas project there.
ITOCHU has production operations in Indonesia, the North Sea,
Azerbaijan, as well as exploration commitments in Sakhalin, Algeria
and other countries. In Azerbaijan, ITOCHU is a member of AIOC
(Azerbaijan International Operating Company) as well as the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan
Pipeline Project (BTC).
In January 2005, ITOCHU has moved to the Third Floor of Hyatt
Tower 3, from the Sixth Floor of Hyatt Tower 2.
