"Young Timberman," 1961-1968 by Aleksei P. Belykh. He was born in Krutets, Orel, Russia, in 1923. He studied at the Surikov Institute after working as a textile designer. Belykh began exhibiting in 1953 and taught at Kostroma Art College 1958-64 and Kostroma Teacher Training Institute from 1964. He is also a graphic artist. Oil on canvas (211cm x 186cm).
