ASA Youth Awards
On March 16, the Azerbaijan
Society of American (ASA) held its annual Novruz celebration
in New Jersey. The non-profit organization, founded in 1972,
seeks to foster relations between Azerbaijanis and Americans,
preserve and strengthen Azerbaijani culture and unify all Azerbaijanis.
For the second year in a row, ASA presented Special Recognition
Awards to outstanding Azerbaijani youth who have actively promoted
Azerbaijan in the United States. This year's winners are Siraj
Mahmudov, Zaur Mammadov and Taleh Ziyadov.
