Aftafa (pronounced as af-ta-FAH) and prayer beeds (tasbeh). An aftafa is a water pitcher used for rinsing one's hands and feet before performing prayers (namaz). Here, it symbolizes purity and cleanliness and refreshing of the body and spirit.
