Comparative Literature
Baku Slavic University
will host an International "Comparative Literary Criticism
Conference on October 29-31, 2004. Among the issues to be discussed
are: (1) methodological and theoretical problems of comparative
literary criticism, (2) comparative research of the literature
of various nations, and (3) questions of comparative mythology
and folklore. The working languages of the conference are Azeri,
English, and Russian. Plans have been made to publish related
materials of the conference.
