Danish Consulate

The Danish Consulate in Azerbaijan opened on August 24, 2004. Consul Bent Thomasen has worked on various projects in several countries, Greenland, Germany, China and Norway. In China he was involved in management teams setting up factories in Beijing and Shenyang. In Denmark, he was involved in shipping and trading. He also worked in Norway before coming to Azerbaijan to work on the BTC (Baku Tbilisi Ceyhan) pipeline project as Assistant Project Manager in logistics. Thomasen's goal is to facilitate connections between Azerbaijani and Scandinavian business partners.

The Consulate primarily helps Danish citizens and businessmen. It does not have the authority to issue visas to Denmark. The Consulate is located in Baku's Old City at 1 Mammadyarov Street, Building 8. Tel: (994-50) 223-6952. Email: bent@azeurotel.com.
