Spring Literature Issue

The spring issue of Azerbaijan International arrived today. Good job! I love the art work. To tell you the truth, it's hard for me to read more than two stories at any one sitting. The stories you've selected don't read like easy novels. They make you think.

It seems to me that these stories are more like the kind one might find in one of our most esteemed literary magazines The New Yorker. The stories describe people who have been through a great deal and somehow have managed to survive. Certainly, the characters are not rich, spoiled and materialistic.

It's quite an issue. You've done a wonderful job in translating, editing and making this rare literature available in print. Thanks.
