"The Best of Rashid Behbudov"
is a new two-volume CD set just released. Behbudov, one of Azerbaijan's
most famous singers, is perhaps best known for his role in the
1945 movie version of Uzeyir Hajibeyov's opera "Arshin Mal
Alan" (The Cloth Peddler). Songs on the album include "Baku",
"Ana", "Ayrilig", "Badamli", and
"Azerbaijan".
