Reader's Forum Editor: Though many Azerbaijani
youth in Baku are already quite proficient in English, Azerbaijanis
[an estimated 25 to 30 million] in Iran have not had as much
exposure and opportunity to use this language. Sometimes the
letters that they send us with their expressions and spellings
make us smile, but we are pleased to note a marked increase in
their attempts to communicate with the world, and the awakening
of their own Azerbaijani identity. AZERI.org focuses on Azeri language
